Arctic Foxes - Hornstrandir

I can't exactly explain what made me go to Hornstrandir in the West Fjords in Iceland in the middle of winter, but I am fairly sure it was because it was remote, isolated, cold and the thought of seeing the Arctic Fox up close somehow appealed to me. Once you have meet an Arctic Fox you want to go back and observe them again ! These selected images were part of my first exhibition at the KANT Festival October 2024.

Iceland - Landscapes

Iceland is one of those places I can return to over and over again to absorb the wild and rugged landscape and ever changing weather - totally unpredictable ! For a landscape photographer Iceland is a dream but also super stressful because there is so much to photograph no matter which part of Iceland you are visiting.

Khutzemateen Provincial Park

In the summer of 2022 I visited the Khutzemateen Provincial Park in British Columbia. The park is home to a large population of Grizzly Bear's and has very limited access for people to ensure the bears can live in peace.

I have been lucky to visit South Africa multiple times for work, and somehow I also managed to squeeze in a couple of visits to some of the national parks including Kruger National Park. Once you have see the sun raise in South Africa and watch the lions stretch in the sun to warm up you are hooked ...

In 2018 I took my interest in photography to the next level when I visited Antarctica. This trip made me realize that despite all my self doubt and lack of confidence, I actually had the ability to capture images that told a story about the end of the world and show people the incredible landscapes and the animals that live there.

Flateyri in the winter

Flateyri in the West Fjords in Iceland is a rough place during the winter months with its weather beaten buildings and harbour. The mood and the buildings really inspired me so i spend a few hours walking around in the freezing cold with my Leica Q2.

Toronto by night!

Over the past 15 years I have been coming to Toronto 4-5 times a year because of work. I have seen the city change over the years. When ever possible I will always go for a long walk with my camera downtown when getting back from the office. Especially at night time the city is full of people and the lights of the big city just makes the motives line up ...
