Antarctica

"In the fall of 2018 I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to participate as an expedition photographer on one of Hurtigruten's expeditions ships sailing to Antarctica. I was one of three photographers and found my self at age 52 being an apprentice learning from two of the best. For the first time in many years I was at the bottom of the hierarchy ready to learn and make the most of this opportunity. I am not sure that pictures can even remotely describe the beautiful and dramatic landscapes, the ever changing weather and the incredible wildlife. But being able to visit Antarctica also carries a responsibility to try your best in showing just how unbelievably beautiful this continent is -this is my attempt to do so."
